2003 C240 will not start

I have a 2003 C240, the last time I tried to start it it ran about 3 seconds and died, I tried to re start it and it turned over fast with the starter but would not start. I removed the breather and sprayed starting fluid in to the intake with no effect; I put my fuel pressure gauge on it and got 40-50 Lbs., I removed one spark plug wire and discovered that I have no spark, I got 0 codes on my OBDII scanner, I checked for voltage with a test light on one of the injectors and did get a pulse while cranking the engine.
Question: if the Crank Shaft Position Sensor were bad would I still have the pulsing voltage at the injectors during cranking?
If this were an old Chevrolet I would be changing the ignition module at this point but the Auto Zone price is about $600 on this car.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
The spark cannot fire unless the coil primary is switched on. Without a good signal from the crankshaft sensor, it does not know when to fire. Pull the sensor out. Measure about 700 ohms across the two pins for a good device.

Moviela, So it is possible to have a pulse on the injectors even with a bad CPS?

Well, after changing the Crank Shaft Position Sensor and the Cam Sensor with no results it turned out to be a blown fuse #48. The question now is why did the fuse blow and where will I be when it happens again?
