As I drive the car over a block or do any maneuvers that cause the car to go up and down, I hear squeaky noises until it stabilizes.

Am I dealing with a worn out control arm bushings here?

Is it DIYable? How much is reasonable to fix it at Indy if it is indeed the bushing issue?

Control arm bushing, sway bar endlinks, could be many things. Try and use spray silicone lube on all moving suspension parts first.

Just take it to a shop that offers free inspections. There are some Indys that do and usually most mainstream shops will. You can also do it yourself by checking your bushings for any cracks, boots for rips or excessive play on any of the components phister mentioned. Depending on the mileage of your car if it is the bushings I would recommend replacing the entire control arm/stabilizer bar. The lowers are easy and the uppers are a pita :P

No offense, but if you don't know where to get silicone spray I think diagnosing your suspension issues might best be left to a pro. It will cost you less on the long run.
