Creaking noise when steering at very low speeds

I've searched the forum but want some opinions - this just started a month or 2 ago, but when I am steering say at a drive thru or just to maneuver into the garage, I hear a creaking noise (it happens when steering near full lock position) Is this the cause?:

Hydro-mount in strut rod.

When maneuvering, the inner stop plug in the hydro-mount collides with the outer sleeve and causes corresponding noises.

Supposedly this part fixes it on all 4, looks fairly cheap at $6 or so for a Control Arm Shim.

My concern, however is labor....anyone guess? I've attached the procedure but no hours are given so a bit concerned if I should just live with this or take it in. Thanks for any feedback, estimates.
