Planning to replace side repeaters
Well I have an early 2004 pre facelift w203 C180 with the frosty side mirror blinkers. If I would upgrade to the 05+ clear lensed blinker would it be a straight swap or rewiring needed since the new ones are gonna be LEDS? Hope its just a straight swap as I have already upgraded to Bix and new clear foglamps and they really change the look.

Straight swap, easy as pie, once you figure out the tab you have to bend back. Don't be afraid to bend the entire mirror assembly back as far as you need to. Very good instructions are on here somewhere.

My concern is arent the leds in the facelift version a different wattage? Maybe it could trigger check side mirror warnings? Mirrors are already dismantled and just waiting for response if they wont trigger warnings before I buy the parts
