Besides peanut butter (lol) and a heat gun, how do you restore faded plastic?
I don't want squirrels licking my car and I certainly don't wanna melt the interior. So, the plastic switch cover for the buttons on my steering wheel are faded and need restoring, some other plastic too, are there any products you recommend?

That stuff on the steering wheel buttons actually comes off with the use of rubbing alcohol and.. rubbing Then you can get some CF stickers there.
I kind of feel that the coating on those buttons is too soft for polishing, but I never tried.

Some Meguiar's Ultimate Compound should work. I used that on my headlight lenses and to get some scuffs out of the paint when I just bought the car.
