Newbie here

So just made the leap from an '02 Passat with way too many miles to an '06 c350 sport. Yes, I know, I know, pics needed. I just picked it up and I've been sick all day. I'll get some snapped tomorrow. So far I'm extremely happy with it, in fact really couldn't be happier. 1 owner, was purchased and maintained meticulously at the dealer I grabbed it from. I have a business relationship with the sales manager, so if I'd gotten it any cheaper they'd have called the cops.

Anyway, upon doing some research and looking at my car, I'm beginning to think it has some upgrades that I wasn't previously aware of:

*Has projector headlamps. Did any models come with these in '06?

*Has sport pedals (AMG maybe?) including the park brake. Not cheapies.

*Ride height seems to be lower than what I'm seeing for stock suspensions on this forum? Maybe someone could do me a solid and measure what theirs rides at? On flat level ground, from the ground to the highest part of the wheel well opening on mine is 26 3/8" front, 25" even in the rear. Is this stock? Did the sport package include shorter springs? I would really like to put some 18's in place of the stocker 17's, and if it's lowered that will save me some serious coin.

I was quite surprised to see an average fuel economy right on par with my Passat at 26.4mpg in mixed driving. With my Passat having the 1.8t cranking out around 170hp, I figured the extra 98hp in the c350 would come at a big cost. Apparently not.

Already ordered my first couple items, a bluetooth adapter to go in my pre-installed phone cradle, and a flat hood star. Arranging the tint next week, grabbing a new chrome key since it only came with 1 black one, and probably going to order myself a rear deck lip spoiler. I'll make sure to snap some pics tomorrow so I can capture it in it's semi-virgin state before the mods begin.

05-07 sport models came with some AMG parts stock like the pedals and the bumpers side skirts. Projectors headlights did come as an option on our cars. as for ride height the sport models came with a sportier suspension set up then other models and even the C32. The rear suspension height can be adjusted by pads that sit on the rear springs, there are 4 different pad heights you can use, 1 being the lowest/thinnest pad which many sport came with. I believe some came with 2 pads.

Thanks for the info guys, and samaritrey, I will definitely do that. Just snapped some quick pics. The lighting sucks and they're crappy cell pics, but I'm still sick so that's it for now.

I definitely want to replace the wheels, I just don't like the look. I'm thinking about going with something black to break up all the silver on the car, and tie in with the tint I'll be doing.

Yep, the car definitely has lighting package - see the headlight washer covers on your last pic.
