c230k sedan....tranny question?

My salesman said that starting in 2004, MB will not make the 6 speed manual for the 230k sedan. He said only the auto tranny will be available. I think the sales guy is confused. Can someone please clarify? Also, when is the new re-designed model for the c class be out? I think every 7 years...which should be 2006 or 2007, right? Thanks!

Your salesman is a fool. Doesn't he even read the brochures in his dealership? Doesn't he check NetStar to keep himself informed? For 2004, the six speed is no longer available on the C240 and the regular C320. This six speed is still standard equipment on the C230k and C320 Sports Sedans.

The fact that your dealer is clueless is a reason not to buy at that location and take your business somewhere else.

From reading other posts, the new C is due out in 2005 as a 2006 model? MB is so weird about models changes and minor changes during a model life that I don't care - It's out when its out.
