How Many Miles do Rear Shock Absorbers Last ?

How Many Miles do Rear Shock Absorbers Last ?
I have reached 80,000 km ( 50,000 miles) & both rear shocks have evidence of a slight leak , not wet or dripping, but the accumulation of dust associated with dampness.
There is no noise & they are still damping correctly.The passenger side has been wet for 20,000 km.
I would have expected more as I never changed the rear shocks in 350,000 km in my last Peugeot diesel. MB Sachs shocks must be a little precious .
Price each delivered A$180 from Sachs dealer.

Clean them off with degreaser & monitor for a week or two. 80,000kms is to early unless you have been off road!!
