Hi
my c 220 cdi went in to limp mode, total power loss and max 3000 rpm. did a diagnose and found air flow mass meter error. changed air flow mass meter. now the engine revs over 3000 rpm, but its idle is horrible, and a light touch on the trottle makes it even more horrible.

My 2007 220 CDI is a diesel i.e Common Rail Direct/Diesel ? Injection.
Does the idle improve with the air flow meter disconnected ? If this is so you may have the incorrect flow meter.
