Gas Gauge no longer working

Gas Gauge no longer working
I recently had some service completed on my car including the "Service A" service. I noticed that my gas gauge light is no longer working, all the rest of my instrument cluster is working as normal. Do I need to reset something or replace fuel pump ? The place that completed the service stated that they would need to run a diagnostic test to locate the issue.

if you have digital gas meter , then you might have the problem i have sometimes , mine dissapears to and shows nothing for my Eclass (w211)
Just remove the wires from the battery for about 1 minute and put it back should be fine , if not then most likely its a fuel sensor, or another sensor that sends the message to the computer showing how much gas you have.
