TPS - anyone ever tried repainting the carbon tracks?

I recently replaced my throttle position sensor due to a P2119 code from the MIL. Kept the old unit and out of sheer curiosity I cracked it open. The motor solenoid, gears and contact points look fine, but I noticed the semi-circular carbon tracks look kind of worn... I'm wondering if anyone ever tried to repaint them with a carbon-based conductive paint? Or any other suitable material?
