Question about bc coilovers.
Okay, I got a few questions.
1. So I used the search bar to searched a DIY coilovers for BC and I can't seem to find any. I know there is for Teins, but nothing else. Care to lead me to the direction of it because I may just be blind.
2. I also had a question about the rear pads. I'm going to assume I have a #2 pad. Is it better if I get a number #4 pad? No Pad? or just stick with the #2 pad. I'm planning to drop it more than a SS
Thanks in advance.

Bc install same as tein coilovers except bc supply shorter sway bar endlinks since its relocated. I personally have #1 pads to drop as low as possible since you'll be able to raise it up. The only other difference is that that cup with the perch for rear sits on the bottom of the spring instead of on top. But just follow the tein install and you'll be ok. Plus bc has pretty good instructions to follow.

So, my buddies and I installed the BC coil overs. First installment took a while on the front due to the top hat. (we didn't have the MB's socket) Rear was fairly easy enough.
Now I am currently getting knocking noises in both front. I also noticed that the OEM washers didn't fit as well. so I'm running without washers in the front.
So my first question to you Phi is.
1. When we installed the new top hat on the bc coilvers we did not compress the spring. did we have to? It only knocks when I drive over bumps and potholes.
2. There were two washers on the top hat. one above and one below the top mount. Does it need to have washers? If so, where can I get them.
3. I found it interesting how the rear cup to adjust the height is at the bottom. So does this mean if we want to lower the rear we have to take the spring out? Can't we just move it to the top?
Anyone with bc coilovers care to help me out? I'm new to this modding game.
