Muffler/Exhaust for c240... Suggestions?

So I want to give my project 2004 C240 some power through its exhaust or muffler without disrespecting the fact that its a Benz. I want to make it pur, not roar and annoy my passengers and most importantly, my neighbors. I have heard some good things about the Flowmaster 40/50, but I was looking for something similar or any other suggestions. I know about Renntech, Kleeman and Brabus but I am no Bill Gates haha. What do you guys like?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but a new exhaust will not net you any additional power. I would defintely not recommend an Eisenmann to you; it's very loud. From what I remember of others' exhausts, I think that you're on the right track with the Flowmaster. I believe a Magnaflow would also give you decent sound that would have the neighbors' approval.

Well, my focus by doing it is not primarily for a major power upgrade. More like a sportier feel and sound to the car. Thanks Tommy!

I've got a 01 C240, Magnaflow exhaust and rear cats deleted. The neighbours do not approve lol. The thing I don't like is that from 2000-3000 rpm there's really a lot of guts in the engine and it's not pulling and as you accelerate like a normal person it gives off this sad drone that sounds like the car is struggling. In the sweet spot then it sounds nice, also lots of highway drone pending on speed.

If you want a sportier feel, do a suspension upgrade. Makes the car turn in wayyyy better.
