flat hood badge install info

Just received the flat hood badge in the mail. Came with no instructions...
Anyone have picture diagram of how this thing goes?
How do you take off the stand up hood star? I saw no wing nuts or anything when I popped the hood open... (unless I'm blind... which is quite possible...)
Thanks.

Yup. You're blind. (j/k)

Might want to use that search button as there have been numerous threads, some with pics, on this subject matter.

hold the

base of the star, then turn the flat wing nut counter clockwise, and it should loose the wigle a little then lift out.

and for the flat hood emblem, press in the two small white plastic to the hole on metal base then press the top part, then slip in to the hole on the hood where the original was. slip the metal clip then screw the lock nut with using 10mm or maybe 13mm deep socket wrench, check the the fitment of the star. that's all

Note: don't over torque it.
