Code 0521 and B1003

Code 0521 and B1003
Recently went to my indie tech and did a scan on my 2007 c230 sport. He came back with 2 codes 0521 and B1003.
0521 : Diagnosis of tumble flap "intake manifold" short circuit to ground of sensor lines/Tumble flap shafts stick in the actuated position.
Does the intake manifold has to be replaced or is there a way to replace the flap shafts?
B1003: error with the water circulation pump.
When the key is on position 2, I can hear the pump humming, so the pump is working. Is the pump supposed to start running when the key is in position 2? What could be the possible fix?

I just replaced my intake manifold for the same reason, Check my thread on this issue like a few weeks ago. See what part is broken on the intake manifold, if it's on the outside the "triangle" piece that's broken then, there is an aftermarket replacement, however, on mine, the inside plastic bearing around the shaft was also cracked, and the tech told if that gets worse and falling apart, it will fall into the cyclinder area and ruin my engine. Ended up replacing the entire manifold.
