2001 c 270cdi

270cdi auto 2001 started and died . 2 times engine ran uneven when being started , then smoothed out , and was ok to drive.


Please help guys. Am a newbie. Where do I look and where will the diesel pumps be

That might be the problem - it should be diesel.

Really, OP, can you describe the condition of your car and any symptoms a bit better? You're not helping anyone out here to try to even guess at a problem with the car.

Best to post in the diesel section .They will talk about fuel filters in tank, ,checking rail pressures etc>!!

Did in the past, 2 times , when starting , ran uneven , and after a few seconds smoothed out, but never died . The engine turns fast but now not starting. Where can I start looking. Thanks

Hi, 2001 270cdi auto. In the past it did 2 times run uneven when being started up ,but then smoothed out and was ok to drive. Now just started and died. Engine turns fast but does not start.
Please can you tell me where to look and where are the pumps situated
