Engine Mounts front and back
Hi everyone,
I'll be doing both the front and rear engine mounts later today. I thought I should share. Seems pretty straight forward. I do not have an engine lift so I'll be using a jack (putting flat piece of wood under oil pan and lifting motor). As for the rear mount (transmission mount) I'll be doing the same as well. The transmission needs to be jacked up 10mm so no big deal. I think the engine one is going to kick my butt. Also I noticed I have an exhaust leak. They recommend removing complete exhaust system. So might be a good time to track the leaks.
Anyway enough talking I have attached the documents. If this is a repost..sorry.

Surprisingly pretty smooth. Did have to remove headers. The drivers side was a little pain since it didn't have too much room but all in all not too bad. Drivers side was shot. Passenger side seemed ok. Transmission mount was once replaced I believe 70k miles ago under warranty and it was for sure time.
I can feel a night and day difference. On stoplights my steering wheel would shake - that went away. Handling seems like it improved as well (around the corners). When I would put it in gear the transmission would jerk forward - that went away. I don't know if it's a placebo but my shifting became less laggy and more smooth.
Next time i'm going to have them replaced though. I think I'm getting too old
