Hello everybody.I Live in Cyprus. I have Mercedes C200 Kompressor (w203) UK Version (Right hand drive) While i'm driving my car everything goes perfect. When i'm turning on the left i hear a knock sound at driver area somewhere in armrest or under a driver seat. Last 2 month i want to find out what the problem is. I took the car to my Mechanic he told me that everything is in perfect condition and this sound can be because of a broken peace of plastic. Can there be a problem in a rear conditioner? Did anyone have this problem? If somebody knows something please tell me what it can be. This knock sound is only 1 second but on every turn on the left it sucks my blood.

Sounds can travel in weird ways through cars. If it typically happens when turning, and turning while going over a bump usually at slow speeds, I would look seriously at the ball joints.

 

Thanks for the reply Hogger but i checked all the car and yrsterday night i discovered that sound comes exactly under the driver carpet. When i was at the MB deallers they told that mechanicaly car is in perfect condition. It sounds like broken plastic or screw.
