Am I missing a dipstick?
Hello, I just bought a 2006 C280 4Matic and I am attempting to change the oil.
According to the manual, the oil check is behind the engine, but there is also a red dipstick in front of the engine. This is a 4Matic, so it may be a little different. Anyway, the dipstick/check tube behind the engine has nothing in it. The one in the front has a red dipstick.
1. Am I missing the dipstick behind the engine? What is the part no.?
2. Is the red dipstick in the front of the engine also for oil?

Ok. So the rear picture of the engine is the transmission tube.
Just the opposite of what the owners manual says, so that is confusing.
Does anyone know the part number for the filler cap?

Interesting. Is this a 4matic thing? Our engine oil dipstick is in the rear and we don't have anything in the front.
