friday is the final day so i will post the final final update saturday. i think they will ship out on monday.
actually, even though it's felt like a short eternity, it's will only have been 2 weeks this friday since i first started the group buy.

hi
i have just spoken to Kyle and here is the update:
the people who have called and ordered are definitely getting the kits (as at least 10 people have called). i couldn't confirm w/ kyle who hadn't called (if any) other than the ones that pm-ed me to let me know. kyle is not maintaining a central list (which i feel would've been helpful)
the ballasts & bulbs are actually shipped from germany to them and then to us. they will receive them by tuesday and ship them out next mid-week. everyone should be getting them by the following week (depending on your location - i hope to get mine by monday).
couple of pieces of trivial info re hids4less. they get their stuff directly from germany. kyle is VP (jr partner) and michael is President (sr partner) but it is a small subdivision. kyle runs a maximum of 2 group buys concurrently (BMW and MB right now). most people are getting Stage 2 kits.
thanks to everyone for their patience on this. it is much appreciated. i am certainly as eager as anyone else to install them! (and the more i read about the installations, the more confident i get about the simplicity of the installation)

i've been told by one person that their card has been charged already even though they haven't shipped anything yet. i called kyle to clarify this.
his explanation was that the kits are allocated in this manner. by charging your card, the kits are prepped from virgin kits to H7 kits and allocated to a specific person.
i'm ok w/ this. but if you are not, call him, and he said they'd credit your card back for now. he sort of implied that your allocation may be delayed though... i don't know how real a threat that is.

yes, tomorrow is the last day. one other person is getting the kit for his ml320. he said that there is no computer setting for his car, just plug and play.
another interesting thing is that they now have the projector type Hids that are on the new MLs. ask about that if you are interested.
