COMAND Nav W203

I might be interested... how hard is the install???
Harder than a CD changer?
The Install SHOULD be done by someone that knows Mercedes
So that the Install goes smooth...Doesnt make a mess out of the Install...and Break things in the process
The Install can be done in 30/45min
Yea, that's very predictable in light of his angry inch.

Mark I know you love Steve, I'm sure he loves you too. If you're reading/replying this post to deter buyers go ahead, I'm not making any money off of it, just thought everyone could save a buck or too if we did a group buy.
as for the angry inch part, since u two are so close I don't think I need to elaborate or be more graphic about it. ROFL
It looks, like you are accusing the wrong person.
I was the one, mentioning Steve. And I don’t even know Steve personally, we did exchange e-mails and I hope, he will be here in FL In the near future to install the Comand for me.
I really don't want to talk people out of the sale. Your idea is great and I appreciate your offer. My only concern is the installation.
I’m afraid most of us here are not able to do it, and I certainly would not take my car apart. We are not talking about junk cars, we are talking about $30 – 40 grand worth cars here and we are talking about changing some electronic elements which can mess up a lot in our cars.
The fact is, NO DB dealer will install the comand. The only one I know (so far) is Steve. If you know of somebody else, please let me know and I will be happy to add my name to your list and order one from you.
Robert
I never said installation included, nor did I even attempt to coax you into buying it with me.

Install should take no more than 30 min.

Steve K. did my COMAND and TV tuner install with drive in motion active.
I saw him install it and it's a little more complicated than I thought it would be. Especially the TV tuner. Make sure you get a quote on installation. You need many special tools to take the dash apart and mount the GPS.
Other accessories you might want to think of getting:
Sirius Satellite radio and a DVD/MP3 player.
With the original factory European TV tuner you get 2 audio/Video inputs.
DVD's look great on the COMAND Screen! Steve Krabbenborg can get you pricing on the TV tuners.
