Front End Paint Protector?
Hey guys,
I have a Magma Red C230K with C2 and C7 options that should be here around 1 April, and I can't wait! I've learned a lot just by reading the good info on this forum. Have a question though: Is there a clear "decal" type paint protector for the hood & front bumper? A buddy has a BMW 330ci and bought a heavy duty water-applied decal that covers 6 or 8 inches of the hood and the entire front bumper. Looks good because you can't see it unless you really look close, and to me seems to be better than a vinyl bra. It is specifically cut for the particular car so it goes on easy. Anyone use them on the C Coupe, or know where to get them?

I have the 3M coating on my car as well. Works great since there are LOTS of rocks on the road right now to prevent cars from wiping out in the snow. Some rocks hit my car so hard that I can see marks on the plastic coating. I think I will have to replace it every 2 or 3 years. I paid $400.00 Can$ installed when I purchased the car from the Mercedes dealership.
