Please Advice...

My Father and I have decided to purchase a C320 4Matic for my mother as a Chirtmas/Valentines gift. (50/50) on the cost.

Silver C320 4Matic
Charcol
Sunroof Package
CD Changer

$43,020

Dealer Quotes

$39,459

We have been buying cars from him for a long time and this seems like a fair deal.

I would have liked her to have the lighting package and the wooden steering wheel, but, from what I read on this forum, Steve or Harris can help me with that?

My questions:

(1) Is it a good deal?
(2) Is it a reliable car?
(3) Can the lighting be added? (Bi Xenon)
(4) Can the steering be added?

Thank You
Nick--

Does she get the front of the car for christmas and the rear for valentines day?

Sorry, I had to.

Good luck with the purchase,

Erik

1. Not sure what the going price is currently, but $3500 under MSRP sounds good.
2. My experience with my C320 has been less than perfect so far, but others seem to have less problems than mine.
3+4. I would get them right away, less hassle that way.

Good choice on the car. The 4matic is very impressive in inclement weather. I have driven the cars extensively in winter conditions and been very impressed. Adding winter tires (if necessary) makes the car virtually unstoppable as long as ground clearance is not a problem.

The 320 engine is a better choice considering the 240 is a little underpowered for the additional 4Matic weight (232 lbs) and drivetrain.

The Bi-Xenons and wood wheel are retro-fittable. However, the lights are a bit of a PIA so if you can get them factory installed, it is much easier. Good Luck

If you can get the bixenons with the car if you fit afterwards the lights wont be adaptive and you also dont get the headlight washers.

Thank you for the responses. I am off to the dealer today to drive the car and to see if I can get the same price if I spec the car.
