High Idle in P or D
Here's another problem to add to my list!
Last night driving home from work my car began to idle weird. In Drive it idles around 1100-1250, and in Park it idles at about 750. I took off the intake cover and checked the MAF/TB area (I recently had the crankshaft sensor done, which involved moving the MAF) but it seems to be positioned fine. The only thing that I did yesterday was I bought gas at a cheap gas station, as opposed to my usual Exxon, BP or Shell. I recall this happening once before when I got cheap gas, so I'm wondering if it's all gas related. I chose to ignore it because it settled itself. It's currently at my friends shop being looked at. No CEL or anything, just installed new air filters, I feel no loss of power and it does not "hunt" for RPMs. Any ideas?
