One of my keys is possessed
So a short story...
I purchased my car 2 months ago and it came with 2 keys. I decided to take the key that was more aesthetically appealing, and gave my girlfriend the spare. Fast-forward to now and I began to realize that the car acted MUCH better with her key than it did with mine. What I mean by this is, the auto headlights worked perfectly, the auto windshield wiper worked like a charm, even the transmission shifted smoother.
Put my key in and the car works....but it doesn't play nice with me. The auto headlights don't do auto anything, windshield wipers act funky, trans feels sluggish, memory seats, the list goes on.
Has anyone ever heard of this? I wonder what could cause it.
In the meantime I transferred the guts of her key to mine, and vice versa. Oops!

Are you sure it's not just a bunch of coincidences? The auto wipers always act funky, but for the other things, do two test runs under the same conditions with both keys. EX- drive to the grocery store with one and come back, then do it again with the other key driving the same way...

Yeah.. this is coincidence. You might can make it adjust the seat based on the keys, but headlights are controlled by the switch, and the transmission is most definitely not tied in.
