I have a 2006 C230.
Just hooked up my aftermarket double din pioneer receiver and got my antenna hooked up properly to the antenna amplifier thanks to the help on this forum.
Now this may sound like a stupid question, but do I need to put a switch on the antenna amplifier 12v source so that that the antenna amplifier isnt on all the time, like when im using my ipod or cd player? I do not want to burn out the amplifier due to over unnecessary use.

Can you shoot any photos of the specific wire that you applied 12volts to, or any guidance as to find the info that you used from this forum (ie the location or title of the post that I should search)
