I put Sirius in my C240!
We plan on trading in our reliable little C240 in a few months, but in the mean time I "installed" an Audiovox PnP unit where the ashtray goes. I removed the entire ashtray and the unit just sits in the void. Since this is a temporary install, I have the anyenna wire going straight up to the antenna which is stuck to the metal grille in the center of the dashboard. It sounds pretty good for an FM modulated setup! It took me like 15 minutes to do this temporary install!
For those curious souls out there, to remove the entire ashtray (flip door and all), you should pry up on the chrome bezel at the bottom of the shifting assembly. Then pry up up the front of the wood directly in front of the bezel. It will pop up. Fish the bezel through the whole in the wood. The rear of the wood is just stuck into a crevice. Once the wood is removed, you'll see four square holes in front of the ashtray. The outer two holes are where the ashtray is held in place by a couple flat clips. Use a screwdriver to pull back on the clips. The front of the ashtray will now be able to lift up. Then the entire assemly will lift out. Now you just need to run the wires, set or install the unit in the void, replace the wood by sliding the part by the armrest into the crevice and then just force the front of the wood down.

I just put Sirius into my C-Class as well. I love it. I went with the Kenwood KCA-R90FM (controller) & KTC-SR902 (tuner). I had no need to use a PnP unit as when I'm home I listen to mp3s and such. I set the controller in the lid of the ashtray by cutting out a hole for it. It wouldn't fit inside the ashtray - and this way I retain use of the ashtray for gum storage 
The whole set up connects via the AUX-in of the COMAND.
