Setting the Crossover on Stock Speakers
Firstly, I apologize if this is supposed to be under Audio and Electronics. I figured different classes have different speakers, so it would be best to put it under the car class instead....
Anyway, I just installed an Alpine 9815 head unit and I'm trying to adjust the crossover.
How would I go about setting the numbers correctly? I've tried looking at the manual for speaker specs but couldn't find anything.
The car is a 2003 C320 that has no BOSE **** in it.

I'm assuming you are talking about the x-over to the sub.
Rule of thumb here is to avoid unwanted resonances. Most cars have a peak in the 125-150 Hz region due to the transfer function. Therefore it would be best to set the LP @ ~ 80 Hz and the HP @ 175 Hz.
These should get you started. After that you will have to finetune it by ear.
Hope that helps.
