2002 C230 Coupe(M111)
MT Gives the Coupe some kind words!
I just finished reading the SLK<>Crossfire Comparison ("Cousins? or Fraternal Twins?)in the December Motor Trend. There's a side blurb about the C-Coupe, in which the writers call it the "better all around car, and a better deal" than both the SLK and the Crossfire.
Finally.
BTW, the C320 Coupe AUTOMATIC ran to 60 in 6.9seconds, and the 1/4 was covered in 14.9@92.5mph. I would expect the 6speed to shave at least a half second off those times.

Finally, a little respect for a truely awesome car.
I'm not easy to please when it comes to cars, I looked at everything, and the C coupe still makes me smile every single time I get behind the wheel.
Would a generic honda/mazda/acura/lexus box do that? Doubtful, unless it was an S2000 or an NSX.
But the car mags sure seem to love them.
Yuk! The coupe is such a sexy shape, so comfortable and ergonomic, and amazingly practical when it comes time to haul cargo, with the seats folded down. And you still don't see that many. An exclusive club of owners. Ha.
I drove an infiniti G35 coupe....it's a nice car....
if all you ever need to haul is a set of golf clubs around town.
And it made C&D's top 10 list. Guess they don't care about that kind of stuff.
So by C&D's reckoning, I guess I have poor taste in cars...
except for the kleeman version which they liked, was the most driveable of the bunch, even if it didn't the 430HP they thought it should.
Looking over the specs for the Kleeman car, well I've done pretty much the same things for a lot less money and a little less HP.
The AMG sways, and a set of Eibach's (or Vogtland's) do more to increase the drivability of these cars than anything.
