Brake Pad Comparison / Reviews
Hi all,
I am going to be doing brakes soon and would like to hear everyone's experience and thoughts for the different brake pads that are available. This is not for a track car.
Please don't just put a one-liner with the brand but state why you like or don't like them.
In particular - Akebono Euro / Brembo Ceramic / EBC Redstuff / Porterfield R4-S / SP Performance Street Plus HP Ceramic
If you have any other recommendations please make a mention of them too.
Thanks!
(this is a duplicate thread in the brake/tire discussion but there is a lot of vendor spam in there so posted in my friendly group too) https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-ti...n-reviews.html
Since I'm in my vehicle thread might as well say---I'm upgrading my stock C320 sport 2/2 pot 300/290mm brakes to a 2008 CLK550 4/2 pot 345/300mm brakes--same size as the C32AMG upgrade. No idea why my sport didn't have the 4 pot 330mm front brakes though.
