Error codes - P2073, P2026, P2017, and P2086
My car is acting quite weird recently. The whole car starts to vibrate when the car comes to a complete stop at the traffic
light. This problem doesnt happen every single time, but at least 3 times a day. Then the car seems hard to accelerate for 2 seconds after stepping on the gas, and soon start accelerate. The vibrate disappears after stepping on gas too. A scan gave me these Error codes - P2073, P2026, P2017, and P2086. Does anybody know that these means. ? Thanks. |
P2073:
Trouble Code: System: Subsystem: P2073 - (ASE) Powertrain Fuel & Air metering, Auxiliary emission controls DTC Description: Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) / Mass Air Flow (MAF) Throttle Position Correlation at Idle P2026: Trouble Code: System: Subsystem: P2026 - (ASE) Powertrain Fuel & Air metering, Auxiliary emission controls DTC Description: Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Fuel Vapor Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Location: Analysis: Likely Cause: End of Range - Voltage Signal Lower Than Expected P2017: Trouble Code: System: Subsystem: P2017 - (ASE) Powertrain Fuel & Air metering, Auxiliary emission controls DTC Description: Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor / Switch Circuit High (Bank 1a) Location: Analysis: Likely Cause: Bank 1a End of Range - Circuit Higher Than Expected P2086: Trouble Code: System: Subsystem: P2086 - (ASE) Powertrain Fuel & Air metering, Auxiliary emission controls DTC Description: Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit Range / Performance (Bank 2 - Sensor 2) Location: Analysis: Likely Cause: Bank 2 - Sensor 2 Out of Expected Range I don't know, but it looks like something might be unplugged or shorted. I only found one thread on any of your codes - P2073 - (https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml). Maybe somebody has some more specific information on what it could be. Here's a general tip - you can google the code. Be sure to add 'Mercedes' or your model in case the code means something else on another car. The information I put in the post came from http://upkeep.us/OBDII/OBD2/Mercedes...t.php?art=1760. There are several similar sites out there that help diagnose CELs so you might find one you like better. Good luck! |
