Coolant Visit Workshop!!! Help ME!!! Pics included

I've got a 2003 mercedes c320 4matic. One day my fan went on FULLLLLLLLLLL SPEED and it didn't slow down.

I went for a diagnostics and got the code p2073 electric fan for engine and AC, open circuit.

I looked around to see what has caused this and i've seen this wire damaged. If i repair this wire will my fan return to normal?

it seems the v6 experiences more coolant leaks than the I4.

keep flushin that coolant

did u find anything else wrong? if not then replace that wire first

looks like it just slowly started to rub from the pics since there looks like some corrison. It must of grounded out when it finally got exposed and came in contact with the metal. I'd start with that and clear the code if you got any codes.
