(Coil clip) Former W203 driver seeking advice to H&R SS owners for W204 application
So back when I had my W203 I noticed a lot of people clipping a coil on the front of their w203's without complaints. I'm all about a good value proposition and I'm sure I may get flamed by a few for even asking this and having owned 30+ cars the last thing I'm looking for is how dangerous or ghetto it is, but if one can perform this with little impact in a negative way I'm all for it before spending $1000+ on coilovers.
With that being said, my W204 I'm thinking of doing the same on all four corners; one half to full cool clipped to get the ride height dialed in. My question is, to those that have performed this, what was your before and after ride quality like?
