Hi guy, Im new to the forum so lets see how it works.
Im working on a 2001 C320 that always have the reverse lights on with the ignition on, once the key its removed they turn off.
I had changed the rear SAM and still on, disconnect the transmission connector and the TCM and still on. Disconnect the ABS unit and the head light switch and there they are still on.
Do any one have an idea what it could be??
Im getting frustrated with this car, I had been working on it for the last two weeks and Im really tired.

I'd get a wiring diagram for the rear lamps and check the wiring between SAM and the lamps. Weird that both are on at the same time...

I change the rear SAM with another good one and still the same issue, check all the fuses and all good but if I unplug the front SAM it turns off.
Any idea??

did you check reverse light switch?
