command disks
Happy holidays to those who celebrate:

Could someone guide me on this one: I have the command in an 2002 c230k and I saw a post somewhere that said that we can use another brand of disk besides the MB ones on the command and they will work properly. Is this true or false?

#2 how often are there updated MB disks?

#3 does anyone have the most recent copy of the command cd rom?

I did see that awiner
said that there was a release of the new disk in 7/2003 so that question has been answered.

You can use any Bosch/Blaupunkt DX disks. I have a disk for the Blaupunkt DX-N system and it works perfectly. You can also use the disks from an Audi DX nav since it is also made by Bosch.

did you get the disk from blaupunkt directly or did you go to another vendor?

They show the latest set as being from 7/02.
I heard that there was a 1/04 version.
Can anyone confirm or deny that?
