I recently purchased a Maxwell Tape Adapter which I will use until I get some free time to take my radio out and ship it to have the AUX input soldered. The Tape Adapter works amazingly well, provides very good audio and even has a bass ON/OFF option.
However, my radio has a bad tendency of spitting it out. It happens randomly, and sometimes doesn't happen for an entire day. I tried cleaning it, I tried making sure the cable isn't causing issues as I run it out the side of the radios display, but nothing. It begins to reverse to side 2, then 1, then 2 and then BOOM.
It works again after I turn off the radio and reinsert the tape.
Anyone ever had to deal with this and have a remedy?
