19 inch wheel problem

i have an 02 c230 with h&r springs (w/ about 22,000 miles on 'em)... factory struts and shocks (which was a bad move to keep on)...

i just put on a set of 19 in. wald replicas 19x8.5 - 235/35 and 19 x 9.5 265-30, and only my right front wheel is rubbing my strut (metal on metal) when making hard rights , or whenever i go in reverse......

i want to change the front struts anyway since they are bad.... could the strut be bent to cause this rubbing??... i wanted to hear some opinions to remedy this issue...

Ok I have this wheel also on my benz..

I know this wheels got lettle bit problem with the offset speacialy for the front.

mine i just used 225/35/19 and spacer 3mm or 5mm

if not the rims will rubb with the strut...
thats I used right now...

yup... sounds like you need spacers

yep... i figured i needed spacers.... i just thought it was odd that only the right strut was rubbing..... thanks

put the spacers and everythings fine now
