2006 Mercedes C280
Mercedes P0012, P0301, and P0272
Hello, i am trying to find out what is wrong with my vehicle.
It is a 2006 Mercedes C280 Luxury with 282K miles.
This is my first vehicle, and yes i know those are a lot of miles...
So my check engine light came on a few weeks back. First, code P0272 came up, then a week later code P0301, and then the most recent P0012, which came up the third week.
My first question is: are these MIL codes in anyway interconnected? Will replacing one part clear multiple codes?
I know that P0272 means the fuel injector is faulty because i tried to flush the fuel system, but to no avail. (this is a gray code)
P0301 is cylinder 1 misfire, probably a spark plug... or the headgasket :|
P0012 is the scary one, so i would like for someone to tell me something to relax my nerves. What is the possibility of it not being the timing chain. Maybe its the camshaft sensor?
[Background]
When i bought the car, the idle was a bit rough. Now the idle is a little more rough. MPG is poor. and the transmission late shifts a little bit (it was recently replaced).
Please Help.. my car seems to be falling apart!

Out Of Control!!
Sounds like you have a faulty right intake camshaft position sensor!!---In any event like you said the car is a mess---time to donate or give to your mother in law!!
