Internal Oil Cooler for Engine Oil?
Howdy
Still trying to complete diagnosis a suspected blown head gasket. I know there is an internal cooler for transmission fluid in radiator, but I have about ruled out transmission fluid as the culprit in my coolant. That leaves engine oil. Is there an internal oil cooler anywhere in the m271 kompressor 1.8 ?
Is there anywhere that oil and water come in contact with the exception of the crankcase cooling area. Could a failed water pump allow oil into the coolant system? Just trying to rule out all possibilities, and cover all areas before I start stripping the head.
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.
I am just kinda throwing spaghetti against the wall to see that sticks.
Any other thoughts welcome. I am going to do a leak down test on the cylinders and see if anything else shows up.
