My wife has a 2004 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan, we have normal ac coming out of the driver vents and no heat at all (even when set to max) and we get mediocre heat coming out of the passenger side.. or AC if you adjust the temperature (but the heat is not as warm as it should be).
I researched some issues related to heater control valves and duo/mono valves, but I cannot seem to figure out exactly what part this car uses -- or what it is called, or the part # for the mixing valve. I have seen tons of posts about $40.00 E500 fixes. I reviewed the parts list on several sites, by diagram and cannot seem to determine how this works. I did not see a post regarding this year vehicle elsewhere here despite searching.
Can anyone chime in with a part number or correct name of the part please?
Thanks,
Don
EDIT: I am inquiring because the part numbers used in many of these threads seem to involve an E series part. I would really appreciate any insight on this, as I have googled this to death and cannot seem to find an answer to the question-- for this year vehicle.

Ok, I had a friend of a friend of a friend.. check out the car and found the following:
1. AC needed a recharge, so it was done.
2. The computer reports M2/15 and M2/6 (Left and Right Footwell Flaps Actuators and Left Blending Air Flap Circulator) as blocked or not working.
Any idea on a reasonably priced source to get replacement actuators or the parts to make them work?
Thanks,
Don
