I guess that's true, but its no longer listed as a feature on the other models which is the point I'm trying to make- what motivated MB to not only change the button but also remove it from list of interior features while it is in actuality still a feature? IMO- model separation is the only logical explination.

Rest is still there I believe it just does not say it on the button. That and the C320 has a completely diferent climate control system in it.

Could be to try and achieve increased differentiation. Especially considering this the climate control systems, thermatik (analog) and thermatronik (digital) are separate options in German markets. Since both have basically the same functionality, they are probably trying to artificially create differentiation to justify the higher price option thermatronic.

The funny thing is that in other markets you can get better options than in the US. Such as a CD player in dash, parktronic from the factory plus other options. So us poor US people don't even get the good stuff the Euro's do.

True, there are some options which we do not get. However, I doubt MB would sell many cars with Parktronic in the US. Of course, we would all buy it (along with folding mirrors, sequentronic trannys, TV tuners etc.) but the other 99% who buy the C probably would not.

However, the Euro market will only get the C230 Sport Sedan as of MY05 while we got it in MY03. Euro also does not get the new Sport Package (MY04.5) as standard equipment. Instead, they pay 1000 euro extra.
