buttons above the radio don't work
So... All the button above the radio do not work... The hazard lights, ESP button, unlock/lock .. at night the lights do not light up either..
IS there a fuse that i need to replace or is the whole unit out?

Could be a fuse, or could be that the plug fell out. at the back of the unit. Check the fuse first.
To remove the trim piece, follow the radio removal instructions. Obviously you'll only need to do the first few steps or so.

2002 C230 Coupe
In my car, the lock and ESP switches work, but not the seat heaters. Lights don't come on in the seat heater switches when I press them. Checked fuse 25 and 41 OK. What do I check next?

Out Of Control!!
My guess is the front SAM. But then that's my response in general now, since they seem to be going here fairly frequently now.

It's basically the assembly behind the electronics for the front end. Do a search, you'll come up with a lot of threads here.
