Yes, our new shipment of lights is due to arrive in two weeks. I'll have some available for those going to Import Motion on the 17th for pickup.

they are lights on the side mirrors, on the bottom, so when you open a door, unlock or lock the car, they turn on for "added light" but dont help that much...

Puddle lights light the ground under the door sill. So you can see if you are about to step in a puddle before entering or exiting the vehicle. Not the light inside the car. The mirror ones suck, but actual lights mounted under the sill light very well and may stop you from stepping in that huge puddle when getting out of the vehicle at night. Of course if you are getting in and there is a puddle there you are screwed since you need to get in to move away from the puddle, but at least you will see it and be prepared.

If you're still interested, I'll have a couple of extra sets that haven't been pre-paid for yet. E-mail me terry@kineda.com.

The picture wasn't hard to find at all. As far as the lights, they seem to be even easier to find... Talk to Kineda.

OK Need Some Help...

Hey, I've had the JLevi puddles installed for a while now, however they stay dimly lit and emit a greenish color, which is very visible after I lock the car...I took some pictures of the wires and resistors I have...can anyone tell me if I'm doing this wrong?? Ok so a few weeks ago, I bought 2 25ohm, 25watt resistors, which you see here (only 1 shown)...I hooked these up one in line with positive and one in line with negative,

Today, I got my 6ohm, 50 Watt Resistors to try, which are shown here...same results

Here is the rear dome light wires, and as you can see, they are spliced with the copper exposed....

And here are the wires from the puddle lights...basically, I've been attaching one end of each resistor to these wires, and attaching the other end of the resistor to the spliced wires.....they work, except stay lit dimly...

Sorry for the camera phone quality and my hairy leg, I was just trying to do these quickly, I am getting quite aggravated with this....can anyone help? TIA

Ok so I know no one helped me, but I finally got my puddles to work and turn off completely just by wiring it differently...I'm no electrician, which is why it took me forever....basically I used one of the 60 ohm, 50 watt resistors I had and wired both ends of the resistor to the positive and negative of the puddle lamp and then attached the respective wires to the dome light wires....basically one resistor in parallel...thanks Dion!

However, now I just have one more question, I know many of you don't care for puddle lights or whatever, but the resistor is extremely hot! How can I be sure it will be okay under the headliner??

I would wrap it pretty good with some high-temp electrical tape. The industrial heavy duty type that won't melt. Probably not available at your local Walgreen's. Need to go to a real hardware store (industrial strength type).

Hey thanks for the reply, I'll be sure to pick something up tomorrow...I might try using the lower ohm resistor in there tomorow to see if it gets as hot, and even works...its late and since i got it to work correctly, i didnt bother trying it tonight..
