Rear Spring type?

Found the lowest half turn broken off one rear spring, so it really creaks/clunks entering our steep driveway. Shopping for replacement has me confused as the spring has three red paint dots. PO said it has sport suspension. But I haven't been able to find info from parts suppliers or forum search to make sure I get the same replacement, so I appeal to the collective wisdom of this forum.

(On the other hand, the car could use rear shocks also, maybe time to get a good set of springs and shocks ;-)

I would buy a complete set like an Eibach or H&R and replace all 4, the fact that your coils are already breaking a half coil and the car is 12 years old it is only a matter of time that all will crack and snap a half or full turn. This is especially prevalent if you live in the rust belt. 3 of the 4 springs in my car broke, I only knew about the front, did not realize that both my rears did. Luckily the way the front broke the jagged end was away from the tire, but there is a danger that it could rip your tire (one of the forum members a while ago posted a picture)

Cheapest place I found for replacement springs is amazon, my Eibach catalogue shows the part number for a W203 coupe is 2564.140

Here is a set for $269

Understand. And it needs shocks also, they might even be original. This car hasn't been subjected to a lot of care.
This could be the opportunity to shop for a performance set of springs and shocks.
