Probably a dumb question
First post. Was just wondering if its possible to install an instrument cluster from an '05 c230 into my '04 c230. Also same question regarding a front body skirt, it would be a stock swap out for both just curious if the fog light holes would line up correctly.

If the shape of your cluster is oval, probably possible, but the 'new' cluster has to have not more than 1000mi(?) on it, otherwise the total mileage will not display.
The front bumper should be pretty much a direct swap, you might need a bracket or two, and I believe the fogs are kind of integrated into the bumper, so you won't be able to use pre-facelift fogs.

thanks for the reply and info, i think ill have to forego the cluster swap due to the cost considering it must be new ($1k) but in regards to the front lower body skirt i have seen some well priced replacements on ebay but still wary of the '05 version being "plug n play" so to speak on my '04

Re: the bumper, your best bet is to send a PM to Glyn Ruck or Moviela, I think they should know for sure if there is modification involved.
You can also try to find someone who can hardware reset the mileage on a used cluster, then it is able to receive the mileage from your car. Not sure about the cost of this...
