So, now regarding that group buy that is not to be on mbworld...
was that for the coupe bi-xenon's or the sedan?
Anyone object to moving it over to csportcoupe?
Would that be OK? Well, at this point it's still not in my budget even at less than 1K....AMG brakes, and then shocks sometime in the new year. Bi-Xenon;s would be nice, but the Rally Phillips bulbs do a pretty good job.
As far as profiting from a free website being just plain wrong, well whoever said that should NEVER EVER go over to craiglist.org.
Lots of people profiting from a free website. They should all be shot.
Oh, and LOL on the exploding head avatar.

They all have different perspectives and philosophies. I understand and respect those various philosophies and the administrators ways of operating their web sites. I don't have any problem with the limitations on group buys placed on this forum by Simon and Brad. I fully understand their desire to protect thier advertisers.
This is the first forum I found when I purchased my first C. I have learned a lot here and will participate here as long as I have a Mercedes. Another forum I participate in and moderate is operated by people who own a business selling mostly OEM Mercedes parts. They also don't want outsiders selling on their forum. The big difference is that forum is directly tied to their parts business while mbworld is not directly tied to Evosport.
I also appreciate and understand Terry's very different philosophy and mode of operation of at csportcoupe. Terry wishes to have a totally non-commercial website and has the means to do so.
None of these philosophies and modes of operation are better than another. They are just different. And variety is the spice of life, as the saying goes.
