Results of Northern CA March meet
You ask for pics, here is what it looked like :
Events planned:
Meeting at Fisherman's Wharf
Lunch in Carmel
Trip around 17 mile drive on a beautiful sunny day
Stopping by the oldest California MB dealership to check out new SL
Events that Transpired:
Took day off of work to attend
Met Maverick at Fisherman's Wharf
No one else showed up
Event never took place
Ended up working on Sunday to make up for Sat
A rousing success if I say so myself.

1 other. Then I went to grab some cash while he waited for the others, I got a flat couldn't get back. Talked to him later and no one else even came. Oh well. I just won't try to organize another. Gonna stick to the bigger events.

No Fishermans wharf in SF had a single building fire off of the wharf. The wharf itself didn't burn and Monterey's Wharf is just fine.

Sorry benzo, I would have shown up but I had to watch the flag-to-flag coverage of the Sebring 12-hour race on TV (even if there weren't any Mercs to root for).
People were probably too lazy to cruise down to Monterey. For the next meet I'd suggest meeting in Cupertino/Saratoga then going for a cruise up Highway 9, then along Skyline and have lunch at Alice's Resturant in Woodside. Nice curvy roads good for testing the Coupe's suspension - although you have to play dodge-em with the guys on their racing bikes.
