Clunk in Suspension

I have always heard a clunk noise on my car whenever I go over speed bumps slowly or go into a shopping center. I once changed my sway bar ends because I thought it was the noise, but it never went away.

I finally took the wheels off of my car to clean them and while I was at it I was checking for tie rod end wear.

When I set my hands on the 3 and 9 a clock position and try to move there isn't much give, however, when I set them at 12 and 6 there is a lot of give. What part is it if this is the case?

Heres a video:

From what I read it's either the wheel bearing or ball joints.
My passenger side wheel also makes this noise, so I second the question

Wouldn't a bearing indicate movement in both horizontal and vertical axis'?. I only have movement in the vertical axis. Looking at pictures of the setup it seems to me like lower control arm ball joint... But that's an observation based on inspection.

That is what I am figuring too... One thing is, I don't have any clunks on the passenger side, so your clunk is likely not related to this 12-6 noise.

Took it to my indy and they just tightened the nut that holds the bearing and hub assembly and the noise went away. 116k miles and seems like it was just an adjustment for wear, can't complain.

Hmm.. good to know, thanks for the update.
Is the clunk over the speed bumps gone as well?

The clunk over speed bumps is gone. There is still a noise present when going in and out of shopping centers but I am confident it is the caster bushings on the car as I have already confirmed they are cracked. At 116k miles on original control arms thats not such a bad thing. I am considering just replacing the bushings as I checked and the ball joints have no play in them.
