Angry Abs control module TCU

Is the abs control module part of the transmission control module? My car is in the shop for something going bad at first i heard transmission control module but i think my mechanic is listing it as abs control module since thats something my warranty covers and the tcu is not. Im really confused at this point lol someone care to shed some light on the matter!

What are your symptoms?

The diagnostic should state the probable part that is defective. Mine stated a defective ABS/ESP Module on my 2001 SLK230, so I replaced it with a used one and problem solved. It was plug & play.

Well my power is absolutely gone. It takes forever for me to get up to speed. That's the only thing I notice. I took it in because the check engine light was on and it said the crankshaft position sensor was bad. Got it replaced and my mechanic said it was the abs / tcu chip and my warranty sent out someone to look at the car and they said the same thing. I just don't understand how a abs chip could cause me to loose power unless they were the same chip.
