major leakage happening

My c240 was parked for about 2 weeks due to the loss of my license, and i had to move it to a new location within are parking garage due to condo renovations on our building. so after i moved it(about 10 days ago), now there is an oil pool underneath it thats growing fast. my car also says "perf serv on time" when i try to chexk the oil hoping i can see how much its losing. does that message mean my "oil level sensor" is broken?could this cause leaking? where can i get one of those and how hard is it to replace? its too cold out for me to hop under the car right now (-41 celcius tonight)

Put the car in dyno mode to see if it will read the oil level like that. This method usually gives a more accurate level. Put key in ignition, turn to 1st position, hold the ODO reset button for 45 seconds (or until it beeps) turn key to 2nd position (but don't turn on car) then press the page down button on the left side of the steering wheel. It should show a whole slew of model numbers, version numbers, engine model, etc and near the bottom the oil level in liters.

Good luck!

You need to update your profile to include the year of you C230. There are at least two different ways to enter dyno mode - do a search.

It's possible that you're not leaking enough oil to trigger a "low oil - danger will robinson!" warning when you do the level check.

But if you have a puddle, you have a leak. You can also check with the dipstick, of course, if your car has one. And if it doesn't, there are ways to check the level manually also. All have been discussed here in one way or another.

This is what's leaking. Transmission wire connection. Took it to my mechanic and it's not leaking anymore. He said it must have been a one time thing but to watch it. Is this just an o ring I should replace to stop any potential future leakage?

Two O-rings. Yes you need to replace it. You should also change the filter, and do a flush. In some cases that oil can wick up the harness and into the TCU and that's not good. Search the forum, there are plenty of posts on this.
